A. Nasal speculum: Dilating device for the nares used by ENT physicians to examine internal structures of the nose
B. Tuning fork: Used to test sense of vibration and auditory acuity
C. Reflex hammer: used to text neurologic reflexes. Decreased/absent or increased reflexes can indicate the location of a neurologic injury
D. Ophthalmoscope: Used to examine the eyes. Can detect retinal injuries or diseases like glaucoma
E. Otoscope: Used to examine the ears for wax, infection, irritation, damage to the ear drum, etc.
F. Tongue depressor: Used to depress the tongue to better visualize the back of the throat. May be used to look for signs of irritation or infection like Strep throat
